Setting Up Your Ozgigs Vendor Profile

In this detailed blog we'll show you how to complete the whole process. Let's elevate your brand!

Step 1: Signing up

To begin, click on the sign up button at the top right of the OzGigs homepage.

Enter your details and make sure to select “Vendor” in the User Type drop down box.

Step 2: Verify Your Email

After you’ve signed up, you’ll be sent an email to verify your email address. If this doesn’t show up, try looking in your email’s spam or junk folder.

Once you’ve verified your email, you’re able to go back to OzGigs and sign into your account.

Step 3: Select Your Subscription Type

You’ll be asked to pick between a monthly and yearly subscription, but no need to worry, there is a 90 Day Free Trial! After you’ve selected your subscription, you’ll be taken to a Stripe payment screen to enter your credit card details.

Note: Your card WON’T BE CHARGED until AFTER the 90 Day free trial. You can cancel anytime during this period at no cost.

Step 4: Setting Up Your Ozgigs Vendor Profile

Your avatar will be displayed throughout your profile. This would usually be your logo in png, jpeg or jpg format.

The profile cover photo is displayed at the top of your profile. The ideal photo dimensions would be 900 x 400 pixels in png, jpeg or jpg format. Don’t have a 900x400 photo? Use this free online tool to help you resize an existing photo.

Name and Description

Your First and Last name are prefilled from the signup page. These names cannot be changed. If you’ve made a mistake, please contact us at support@ozgigs.com.au

Your business name is to be displayed to customers on your profile and reels. This name cannot be changed after setup either.

Description: As simple as it is important. Potential customers will see your description on your profile page. Your description also features in our elastic search bar on the homepage, so make sure you’re using search words that are appropriate for your services.

Starting Price: it is optional to enter a starting price to give customers an idea of the price range that your services offer.

Locations: Select which regions your services operate in to allow customers to search for your services in the appropriate areas.

Event Type: Choose from 4 event types that you service (you can select more than one)

Event Categories: This is your chosen service that you provide. We currently only allow one category per vendor. Please contact us at support@ozgigs.com.au if this is an issue.

Photos - upload up to 10 photos that will appear in your vendor profile

Promo Reel

The Ozgigs homepage features your promo Reel, it’s your chance to capture the attention of potential customers.

• Reel length: up to 3.5 minutes long.

• Format: .mp4 or .mov

• Portrait vs Landscape… Why not both? Upload your video in both formats to get the best of both worlds. Desktop customers will see the landscape format and mobile users will see the portrait format.

• Reel description will appear underneath your Reel in the homepage feed. This should be short and sweet to entice potential customers.

Promo Videos: Upload an additional 2 promo videos to display on your profile page.

• Up to 5 minutes each

• Optional uploads

• .mp4 and .mov formats

• Landscape format only

Website links: provide links to your socials such as Instagram and Facebook. Please input the links in the format as shown in the example. Customers can access your links via your profile page.

Step 5: Finish Your Setup

Click Update and you’re ready to go! Make sure you allow some time for the videos to upload.
